Waterfront Hideaway Resort is located approximately
mid-way up ‘The Bluff,’ which means that
the beach is easily accessible from the main building
and from our gently-sloping lawns, which of course,
are available to those of our guests who might wish
to enjoy an outdoor barbecue. Facilities to do so, are
of course provided.
In the Gibsons area itself, there are many opportunities
for shoreline or offshore fishing. The town’s
lengthy and striking pier is home to a number of boat
operators, with facilities for either fishing or sightseeing
charters. For those who prefer dry land, nearby Soames
Hill offers excellent hiking and wildlife-viewing
possibilities, as do many other areas of The Sunshine
Coast peninsula.
